Rhubarb on the River

Manchester’s Rhubarb Fest is joining together with Riverfest in downtown Manchester! Visit vendors, try rhubarb brats, pie, ice cream and other samples and items in the Rhubarb store. See demonstrations and learn safety techniques along Manchester’s White Water Park. This is a full day, family-fun event that truly has something for everyone. A run and bike ride will kick off the morning at this new location to give more space and bring everyone together in Manchester.

Edgewood Pro Rodeo Days. Our town-wide celebration takes place the last weeked in June. Edgewood Rodeo Days takes place in small town Edgewood, Iowa. Whether it’s your first rodeo, or one of many, the Edgewood Rodeo is an experience you will always remember. Explore our brand new website to find out more about the events that are going on throughout the last weekend of June in Edgewood, Iowa. It doesn’t get much better than the Annual Edgewood Pro Rodeo Days.
Ryan Car Show
The crown jewel of car shows that you don’t want to miss! Awards will be given to fifteen cars by people’s choice. Proceeds are going to restore the 1913 building in Ryan. There will be food vendors and fun for kids. Stick around for the Ryan Celebration with a parade following the car show. Entertainment at the ball park and fireworks at dusk.
Delaware County Fair 2019

the best summer entertainment. From local 4H, FFA and other youth
organization exhibits to outstanding grandstand events, this year’s fair is
sure to have something for every age!

time to experience everything the county fair has to offer!

The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring back Bacon-N-Hops
Fest! Come on out for live music, bacon samples and creations, and beer
samples! Tickets are on sale for $20 and include all the samples, plus
entrance into the band, Time Machine, who is making their return to
Manchester this year! Tickets at the door are $25 and tickets for the band
only will be available that evening for $5. We are proud to be partnering
with the Country Cruisers Manchester and will have the cruise end right at the event so you can check out the cars as well!
Yesteryear Garden and Tractor Show
Yesteryear Garden Tractor Show, a show that happens once a year. A show you don’t want to miss. It is held at the Delaware County Historical Society Lenox College Museum on Hwy 38 in Hopkinton, Iowa. Come check out all of the different types of garden tractors. When you are done with that there is farm tractors, cars, the old train station, and many buildings to see. It’s a fun day for you and the family to get out and relax.
River Runner Regatta and Cardboard Boat Race
The Franklin Street Brewing Company annually holds the River Runner Regatta and Cardboard Boat Race at the Manchester Whitewater Park. The brewery, right across the street from the park, thought it would be fun to have cardboard boats race down the rapids and turned the event into a community-wide party! The Regatta brings out the creativity of participants as they design and construct boats made of nothing but cardboard and inspiration. Volunteers assist the cardboard boaters, both in the water and on the ground and winners receive great prizes from a variety of businesses throughout the community. This year’s Regatta will take place on Saturday, September 16!
Hot Rods & Harleys Car Show
Hot Rods & Harleys is presented by the Hopkinton Lions Club and it has grown to become Northeast Iowa’s Premier Outdoor Fall Car Show. Hot Rods and Harleys is located in Historic Hopkinton, Iowa and it is known for its unique custom built awards, prestigious Lenox Award, awesome goody bags, great food and friendly staff! Hot Rods & Harleys is open to all makes and models of Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles & Hot Rods. Each year we feature a “Showcase Vehicle” with special parking and their own special awards. Our show is located in a small town – downtown setting with paved street parking area. The Hopkinton Lions Club has a 50/50 drawing for those who chose to take part. Sizzlin’ Sounds DJ will keep you entertained throughout the day. We also feature Live Entertainment, Especially For The Ladies Vendor Area and a Feature Vehicle Display. If you enjoy awesome cars, trucks & bikes – this is the place you need to be the First Sunday of October! Come enjoy some small town hospitality, awesome vehicles and great food too! And oh ya… Be sure to try one of the Lions Clubs Famous Tenderloins!
