Vintage Fashion Review 

Treasure the memories of a bygone era with a very unique Fashion Review and Style show presented by Diane Blatt. Diane will take you on a trip back in time as she describes garments along with a brief history of the Manchester area. Learn more about the life styles of the people who might have worn the extravagant gowns, outfits and dresses she shares. Diane has an extensive collection from several time periods and is most eager to share her favorites from the Edwardian Era. 

Hartwick Huskys Ski Team

Schram Park is the host site for the National Champion Hartwick Huskys Ski Team. The Ski club offers ski lessons that are free and open to the public. They also perform their unique ski show several times a year, see schedule for times and dates.

Delaware Crossing Scenic Byway

The Byway…

  • is a 36 mile loop
  • Crosses Delaware County and provides a passage from the present into rich Iowa history
  • Features a wide variety of outdoor activities from hunting, fishing, and camping to waterskiing, canoeing, and snowmobiling
  • Encircles the Lake Delhi area, a prominent recreational area now being rebuilt following the 2010 flood
  • Features Old Lenox College campus in Hopkinton that now serves as the Delaware County Historical museum and holds stories of pioneer doctors, men and boys who volunteered for Civil War duties, and local characters.

The Barn Quilts of Delaware County is organized to educate, promote, and celebrate the unique agricultural heritage of Delaware County through the visual combination of barns and quilts. Barns are vital to the economic well-being of the rural community, and the comfort of hand -made quilts provided warmth, beauty, and an outlet for individual artistic expression.

Snow Pioneers Trail System

The Snow Pioneers Trail System is one of the most widely used in Iowa, one of the most diverse and scenic trail systems within the State. Within this system, you can go from Iowa small town life to rural life, to pristine winter wonderlands while boosting local economies.

The Snow Pioneer’s trail system has inter-linked rivers, streams, Lake Delhi Area, roadways, Backbone State Park, fields, public & private lands. The Snow Pioneers provide trail maps for a modest fee at many locations in the area, including stops for fuel, food, lodging, and repairs.
