The Hosta Leaf 

Located in Colesburg, Iowa, The Hosta Leaf is a family-owned gem located in Northeast Iowa. Owned by Bob & Julie Hackbarth, The Hosta Leaf was first opened in 2000 and they are celebrating “the last season” this year after over 22 years in business! They’re property is filled with over 300 varieties of Hostas and shade-loving perennials for purchase & they also have over 2,500 varieties in their private collection. 

This year The Hosta Leaf will be open for 3 weekends, one of them being their open house on June 3rd & 4th. Julie tells us, “enjoying the season of busy grandkids is at the top of their plans this year” and we couldn’t be more excited for them!
